"This part of San Jose is now considered unsafe and is rather desolate looking. The owner is a sweetheart and very helpful. The room was rudimentary, not all that clean and ran out of hot water for the second morning shower (we were two of us). Breakfast is good, the pool area and the pool itself are pretty. What makes this place is the owner."
