"Beautiful gem of a refurbished boutique historic hotel in the heart of downtown Dubuque. Super friendly and helpful staff, nice, big clean rooms, nice big bathroom, too. Only mild negative is no USB ports in room but management says they are coming soon. Stayed on a referral from a friend and was not disappointed! If you are in Dubuque, stay here and you won't be disappointed either!"

"Kudos to staff member Amanda who was such a people person, calling everyone beautiful and wouldn’t that make your day already? But she kept the buffet refilled each time a new wave of people came to eat. Also kudos to Richard who brought back memories of my 6th grade teacher who was from Hungary. I was having difficulties falling asleep so I grabbed one beer and realized we didn’t have an opener, so I asked Richard and he had a multi tool that he trusted to let me use and I brought it back right away. Everyone was willing to assist and was so very friendly."

"Perfect for my family! We enjoyed the quiet clean room. The breakfast was exceptional and the staff friendly and accommodating. We used the pool and the gym facilities. Both were great! We will be back the next time we visit Platteville! "

"Our family found our stay to be nearly perfect. The space of the house was perfect, the views stunning, and the proximity to Cassville and the state park ideal. The grill wasn't operable, which was unfortunate as it would have been the easiest way to feed a group. During off season, in particular, there are not a lot of restaurants nearby. Overall, we loved it and would definitely recommend."
