"The five of us (parents three 20 something sons) had a great time getting away together. We played games, cooked, took walks at the nearby beach and went on a handrail ride (train tracks and all). The house is set up well for family hanging out. If you are planning on specific cooking/baking, I'd bring your 'have to have' supplies (cookie sheets for one) just in case."

"What a great place and location! The remodeled barn was spacious, comfortable, stylish and unique! Perfect for our family of five. My husband and I did beautiful morning walks while the teens slept in. One day we explored Point Lobos and saw breathtaking views of bird island and the next day we walked through the nearby beach and found an ocean trail to Carmel River Beach.
