"We booked the leonardo hotel as a last minute stay. It was in a fantastic location and everything was within walking distance. The staff were friendly and the room was clean. The cons of the hotel were that the parking was £25, to have a hot shower you had to leave both the shower and bathroom tap running at the same time for around 10 minutes before any hot water appeared in any of the taps and there was no complimentary bottled water in the room. "It was well placed for walking into city centre. Restaurant was only average. It was annoying to have to pay £10 to use pool as on the first day, we only had time for a 40 minute stay in the pool area. Staff were all lovely. "

"Property was very clean and the family room very spacious. A little outdated but thats what gave it a bit of character. My 13 year old son said it was like walking into a palace when he saw the staircase. Lol!"

"This hotel is extremely convenient for Cardiff Central Station, it's just a short walk away. I was a solo female traveller and the reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful, assisting me with how to operate the air conditioning and where to find food and taxis. The room was small but clean, and the bed was comfortable with a choice of pillows. Recommended for a short stopover. "
