I have always felt completely safe and cared for within the hotel grounds . A wonderful breakfast in the sunshine is the perfect way to start the day . There are many things to do swimming , cycling , walking , visit the hotel vegetable garden and see the birds enroute . I look forward to visiting Spier next year after its...

There is simply no better view on the Helshgoote Pass. Staff were extremely helpful with nice touches to enhance guests stay throughout. "Palmiet Valley Estate is set in beautiful grounds. The food was excellent. I stayed in room No. 1, which was disappointing. I felt that the 5 star classification was a misrepresentation. The hotel is advertised to include air conditioning. Internet access, wifi, bar fridge. My room had none of these, it also had no TV.
