"The owner, Linda, was super kind to arrange my transportation. The breakfast was scrumptious. The place had a big beautiful bath tub. The whole entire place including gardens, pool, and the canopy area was beautiful. You should definitely visit there!!"

"The staff was very nice and very helpful. The views of the beach and ocean from the hotel and our room were amazing. Even though it was far away, we could see whales out in the ocean from our balcony! The beach was only a short walk away. The breakfast was great. The common spaces were really nice and comfortable. "Baleens is now under new ownership and is about to be revamped. What we have always liked about Baleens is the easy going and friendly atmosphere. For example when we go for early morning hikes and arrive back after breakfast, Nato is always keen to make breakfast for us. These friendly gestures make the stay at Baleens a pleasure."

Wonderful

"Absolutely wonderful. Unfortunately we only spent one night whilst visiting friends in Hermanus. I could have stayed a month. Very friendly and welcoming. Beautifully decorated and spacious rooms. Lovely lounge area which was cosy and warm for a nightcap after a meal out. Perfect spot in a secure space for relaxing and exploring the area. Will definitely return. Thanks to all the staff for the warm welcome. "
