"Everything was absolutely perfect except for the heating/plumbing/electrical. Shower drain barely worked, bottom of shower filled with water. Sink faucet handle slowly leaked water when turned on. Heat was on but room still felt quite cold, so maybe a bit under-designed for the space. Some of the lights upstairs did not work so the upper loft area was a bit dark. Just not stuff you would expect to be wrong at a place as nice as The Dylan."

"The hotel is beautiful, inside and out. The building itself dates back to 1913. It is in a decent area, within 6-7 minutes walking distance to 2 trams that will get you to the main train station where you can transfer to other trams to get you around Amsterdam. We did not try the restaurant or bar, they just weren't our style. We stayed in a canal-facing room on the 1st floor (floor 0 is street level) and the view was lovely. The bed was extremely comfortable. A bit pricey, but so is...
