"Solid 3-star hotel in a great location. The facilities are showing their age but everything is functional, and the staff were great. Elandsgracht is pleasant enough on its own, but this spot leaves you with the Jordaan, Leidesplein, Oud-West, Vondelpark and Museumplein, and Sound Garden all in easy distances (just to name a few)."

"Super hotel. Clean friendly helpful. I had excellent help from the front desk, Leo and Bram at the bar, excellent and knowledgable Maintenance guy, Michael, who fixed the safe and my luggage, and the room service lady. This hotel is a gem. Very comfortable too. Don’t expect USA size rooms of course, but my 2 stays now were perfectly adequate and comfy. There is very nice seating in the 3 lounge areas and further towards the bar area. You can meet the cars too! Complimentary sweets, cakes,...

"This was our second stay at this hotel. It is a superb, quality hotel, within easy walking distance of all the major sites in Amsterdam. The staff were charming and professional. The breakfast, in the dining room overlooking the canal, was excellent and we also enjoyed a dinner at the hotel. We have no hesitation in recommending this jewel. "

"Nice hotel in a great location! Easy to walk to all the sites, shopping and restaurants. Room was nice size with comfortable bedding. Hotel is historical canal building so has very steep, narrow stairs and no elevator. Reception area has complimentary water, tea, coffee and snacks."
