"Great little hotel in a great location. Rooms are small but very functional. It is on a busy road lined with bars and restaurants, so it is loud at night. We did not mind, as we went in November but might be something to keep in mind if you are visiting in the summer months. The hotel is opposite the funicular de Bica and we loved walking up to barrio alto every night for a little stroll. The metro is like 5 minutes away and you can walk to the center in like 10-15 minutes. Staff at the hotel...

"Excellent hotel, clean and tidy. Staff were also excellent and very helpful every time we interacted. The room was very spacious and the wet room was great. A little bit noisy from the night clubs and bars in the streets nearby but, with the windows closed it was not too intrusive, maybe more of an issue in the summer months. We did book a room with a river view and paid more for this however, the river could only be viewed if you leaned out of the window. We would happily go back to the hotel...
