"Excellent hotel, clean and tidy. Staff were also excellent and very helpful every time we interacted. The room was very spacious and the wet room was great. A little bit noisy from the night clubs and bars in the streets nearby but, with the windows closed it was not too intrusive, maybe more of an issue in the summer months. We did book a room with a river view and paid more for this however, the river could only be viewed if you leaned out of the window. We would happily go back to the hotel...

"The property is well managed and has been recently renovated. It is very clean and modern plus in a good location. However, the noise from a club across the street until 4:00 a.m. was unbearable! The staff was very accommodating and moved us up a floor and around the corner which we better but still lots of street noise after midnight. Apparently the club is closing soon but just be aware. Otherwise a great property!! "

"The location and size of this place is outstanding. The unit was huge and the bathroom was the biggest we have seen in Portugal. Everything was walkable and the area was quite safe and easy to navigate. That said, communication with the host was lacking. Once we figured things out we were good to go though. Side note, you are right on top of the tram, so you can hear it running all day / evening. It really didn’t bother us and we actually thought it was funny. I’m not sure we would stay here...

"Rooms are very rustic and cozy yet modern and up-to-date. Stayed in two different rooms and both were just wonderful with modern amenities. The only thing I did not like is they have no elevator. My rooms were on the 4th and 5th floors and walking up them everyone stops takes a deep breath with a sigh and continues the journey. It was rather funny. I will say the hotel staff was more than willing to accommodate you regarding bringing your suitcases up for you so that isn't a problem. This...

"The location is ideal, with only a 10-minute walk to the main square & both the railway station and boat terminal. There are 2 cafes at street level & the food market is just down the road. Sadly, the view from the balcony is poor as a large building now blocks any view."
