"We had a very good welcome when we arrived late due to a wedding we were attending. Quick and efficient check-in. Rooms were generally good, although the shower had signs of orange bacteria and some black mould on the ceiling. The bottom of the shower door and sealant around it was tatty and looked dirty, so much so that I didn’t want to use it. "On arrival to the hotel it has lovely grounds surrounding the hotel, check in was quick and easy. The room itself was dated but clean I would recommend but could do with some modernizing. "

Overnight stop after business function

"I was working at a function at the hotel in the evening so booked a room with finishing late. Check in was efficient with welcoming staff and a gift. Room was spacious and clean although lack of bedside power points would have been better. Good nights sleep in comfortable bed. Great buffet breakfast in the morning and although hotel was fairly busy staff kept topping up food."
