"I typically don’t leave reviews for properties, but I need to shout from the rooftops to everyone to say how AMAZING this hotel is! It was my friend and I’s first time in NYC and we arrived at the hotel at 10am (early flight in). A gentleman (I unfortunately did not get his name) at the front desk contacted housekeeping right away to see if a room could get ready for us without hesitation. He found out it was our first time in the city and gave us a room with a beautiful view of the city! He locked our bags up so we could explore the city. He gave us a paper with recommendations of places to see, restaurants to eat at and so much more! Upon arriving back later that night, Jasmine at the front desk was fabulous and so kind. She gave us all of the hotels info regarding breakfast/bar and WiFi. Our room was perfect. For being in a city, the room was quiet and you couldn’t hear any cars from outside. The beds felt like I was sleeping in my own comfy bed at home. Everything was perfect and it felt like a dream come true. Thank you everyone for such a wonderful experience. We will be back!"

"This was our first time staying at Placemakr. We absolutely loved the location! Walking distance to the Tin Building, the Waterfront, Brooklyn Bridge, City Acres market, Duane Reade, and plenty of great places to eat. Check in was quick and easy. We requested a lower level floor due to my husband’s fear of heights and they accommodated us. The gym was on the same floor as our room (the 7th floor). It was equipped with treadmills, dumbbells, and an elliptical. The room we booked was a Murphy studio. It was spacious with an entryway bench that had hooks for hanging jackets, an ironing board, an iron, and a full length mirror. Next to that was the fridge, freezer, cabinets with shelves and a safe. The kitchenette had two burners, a microwave, dishes, cups, silverware, paper towels with holder, dish drying rack and mat, soap, and a sponge. The drawer in the kitchen had pots and pans with lids. Under the kitchen sink there was a trash can with an extra trash bag. There was tons of storage with many, many cabinets and even a coffee table that opened for extra storage. The couch which turned into a Murphy bed was comfortable with sheets, three pillows, and a lightweight comforter. There was a large tv with which to sign in to your Netflix, Hulu, and Apple accounts to watch shows/movies. There may have been more apps available but I don’t remember. The bathroom was large with plenty of storage. The desk had plenty of space and plenty of plugs for charging devices. We loved our stay!!"

"This is my favorite hotel in my favorite city. It’s so beautiful and clean- luxurious yet affordable. The rooftop bar is to die for and the bartender is so nice. I’m moving to NY in a year and genuinely will be sad that I wont need a hotel as often because of how much I enjoy staying here. 10000000/10 can’t wait to come back! "

"This location and the property was absolutely beautiful. The views to the brooklyn bridge was breathtaking and it felt like we were in a retreat. A perfect escape from the city. It was close enough to amazong shopping and food in DUMBO and only 11 min walk to nearest metro. Can't wait to come back and visit!"

"Trendy, Modern, I giggled when I first arrived at the way the Loft Rooms "present themselves". It's nice. Blackout shades are excellent. The hallways are a little too dark - I know it's a vibe, but it creeps a woman out a little. That said, you can't get up the elevators w/o a room key. The rooftop bar and danceclub with a killer skyline view are great - Ricky, a bartender up there was fantastic. Also, Primo ran a very fun DJ set for us while we danced on the carousel, yes carousel. There's a little coffee shop w/ great baristas and decent prices. I'd definitely return. "
