"The Swissôtel Bosphorus was the perfect hotel for my wife and I. It was conveniently located within walking distance or a short taxi ride to most key sites and attractions. The staff were very helpful and room staff were excellent. The amenities including the gym and spa areas are first class The view from the room (Bosphorus Corner Room) was inspiring. Highly recommend. "

"The Wyndham Grand Istanbul Kalamis Marina Hotel is a very elegant and grand hotel. The decor in the hotel is absolutely stunning, and the rooms are beautifully decorated. Our room was absolutely beautiful. The bed was comfy, and the decor was amazing! We were greeted by Ege who showed us around and accompanied us to our room. The front desk staff were also very accommodating, and the concierge was very helpful as well. Unfortunately, our breakfast at the Jiggers kitchen and bar restaurant was less than appetizing. My omelette had so much cheese on it, I could barely see the eggs. My boyfriend’s croissant had so much garlic on it that you could barely taste the eggs. After experiencing this breakfast, we declined to try the pricey buffet. The restaurant staff were friendly with the exception of one gentleman who was not very friendly at dinner one evening. Everyone else was very kind and helpful. Overall, this is an amazing hotel with great amenities. I didn’t find very many restaurants I liked within walking distance but there are some great restaurants on the famous Bagdat Street which is a short taxi ride away. If you want to stay in a beautiful hotel with gorgeous, spacious rooms, this is the place to be when visiting the Asian side of Istanbul. "
