"The room was a fair size. It was rather hot but you can turn the radiator off. It is on a main road and there is a lot of traffic noise. But it is nice and clean and the staff are helpful. They did us bacon sandwiches to go instead of having to sit down for breakfast. "

"Stay for one night.Lovely property,with character.Very friendly staff.Rooms could do with a bit of an upgrade,but then our stay was cheap so didn't mind . "I had a comfy bed. Heating was easily controlled. Very basic accommodation but had good tea/ coffee facilities. Very small shower but adequate. Seemed to be a lovely popular pub in a lovely area and a footpath were you could go for a walk but I wasnt there long enough to enjoy any of these things. There is some frequent noise from planes going to Gatwick but I took my earplugs. I would certainly stay again because I was very happy there and felt safe even though I was a lady on my own in one of...

"Fantastic dog friendly pub & hotel. The room preparation was superb and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The dog was fantastically cared for. Great field across the road for exercising the dog as well. Very convenient location for access to & from A27."
