"Hotel is local to many bars & restaurants. Public transport links easy to navigate. The gym & indoor swimming pool are added bonus. The hotel is literally right on the seafront with free parking. "

"Evening staff member was in my view not very helpful has tv didn’t work and on asking him about it he said check source button and this didn’t work and was gone before I could tell him although did eventually fix it myself hence why i dropped a star but morning crew were so amazing and friendly and can’t fault them at all- breakfast was great - "

"Great service from staff and great facilities. We especially enjoyed the spa and our very comfortable stable room on the upper floor of the hotel with lovely courtyard view. It was my birthday treat and Borringdon even had a card and miniature bottle of gin as a welcome gesture, which was much appreciated."

"Staff were very friendly and welcoming. There was a singer that evening and despite being on the 3rd floor the niose kept us awake until very late. The room was clean although it had a very strange smell, like stale cigarette smoke. The bed was comfy though. Only a small bath with built in seat, so we werent able to lie down and have a proper soak which was disappointing after a 4 our journey, and the bathroom could do with a deep clean as the glass shelf was very dirty with soap or bubble bath...

"What a wonderful find! The hotel had a great atmosphere with lovely decor, was very clean, lovely staff (Kate was very helpful and very accommodating with our friend who was on crutches) and very nice rooms. Breakfast was excellent, kept us going all day. Hotel is close to all the restaurants, the Hoe and surrounding areas. We are fairly local but will be back when visiting Plymouth again."
