"I had a disappointing experience as my host hadn’t provided any check-in details the day of my stay. Check in is at 4pm, at 5pm I had reached my destination where the accommodation was and I realized I didn’t have any information regarding my check-in process. I reached out to the host who then informed me that the accommodation was double booked and my stay would be cancelled. I then had to scramble to find accommodation last minute after travelling for 12 hours from Canada without phone...

"Very spacious, well resourced property. Comfortable for a large family gathering and providing a home from home. Disappointing to find that bbqs were not allowed. Situated down a narrow access road, which proved difficult at times but within easy driving distance to Kingsbridge, Salcombe and Dartmouth. It's position on the South West Coast path meant access to some lovely walks. We were disappointed to find a large caravan park opposite which wasn't mentioned in the property details and the bin...

"We had a lovely last minute stay in the Grain Store. The facilities were great (pool, games room etc) and the house was lovely and had everything we needed. Only negative feedback would be that some news pans are needed, the handles are really loose and a bit dangerous when using."

"I have just had three nights at Peacehaven and I would highly recommend staying here. The bungalow is immaculately clean and very cosy. There’s a lovely sea theme throughout and the views are stunning. The beds are very comfortable, the shower is great and there’s everything you could need in the kitchen. "Good accommodation in a convenient place of a lovely interesting small town. There were a couple of negatives, toaster blew a fuse and tripped the RCCB. The boiler was very noisy which, as a retired engineer, made me suspect a failing pump. Not able to contact owner by phone ref. toaster. ,"

"Lovely property in close proximity to the beach at Challaborough Bay and a short walk to Bigbury. The property was as described and overlooks the Challaborough Bay holiday park. It's great for surfing and visiting Bigbury/Burgh Island. Salcombe is a short drive and there are many National Trust places to visit. Note that the drive down to the property is a typical road to the coast (e.g. steep and narrow)."
