"It is an absolutely brilliant hotel. Well situated and has all the amenities needed to keep the entire family happy. I went in the winter so mist be even better in the summer when the outdoor pool is open and the suns out."

"Had a steak in the evening it was lovely, I wasn't very impressed with the breakfast, no brown bread offered sourdough, but it just looked like a chunk of white bread, didn't eat. sausages were burnt, mushrooms, tomato and egg was nice. "

"Room was small but very tidy, it had everything we needed. Bed wasn’t the comfiest but ok for one night. The view was amazing, high over other houses the countryside stretched for miles. Don’t book if you don’t like heights. Unfortunately there was something making a noise all night (heating, A/C, water) I don’t know what but it sounded like a heart beat all night long and kept me awake. Check in was super easy, the bar/ restaurant was clean and friendly. The breakfast was really good the staff...

"Close to the places where we were visiting. Appreciate the effort to try to keep the room comfy. It was actually clean. I understand that bedsheets and pillow cases are not always changed after each stay but the previous customer was very stinky and left strong smells on the bed sheet and pillow case. I do not blame the inn but it did ruined our comfortable feeling to the room. There’s no breakfast served as stated in the package but we didn’t mind. Expedia might need to correct this."

"The person that met me seemed very disinterested. The room they gave me didn't match the pictures on Hotels.com. It was tiny, I wouldn't have booked it if the pictures had shown the correct room. The shower didn't work. The person seemed unconcerned, just said a guest had broken it and there was a bathroom down the hall. The bathroom down the hall looked like someone's personal bathroom, with toothbrushes, lots of personal toiletries etc. The person didn't offer an alternative room, even though...

"We spent 5 days here over New Years and had the most perfect time away. The farm house was so lovely and all our needs were catered for. There were even logs provided for the log fire. The location was absolutely stunning, very good for the soul. Plenty of room for all 7 of us, and the kids enjoyed it too. Beds are comfy. "Tim and Shelia were wonderful hosts. We stayed for a few nights in The Shippen, there self catering cottage. There was four of us, 2 adults and 2 kids and it was perfect mini break. The grounds of the house were lovely with chickens roaming and the house was just up from the tidal creek. The area was lovely and rural and quiet but still had a fantastic pub in the village and not to far drive from some shops. Vest if all were some of the fantastic beaches that were still quiet even in half term....

"This cottage is more spacious than it looks. We had a family Christmas together and there was plenty of space for everyone and lots if different areas to spend time in. The cottage is extremely well equipped, and we cooked Christmas dinner. There is a garden area, but it is not directly outside the cottage, it is a large area and our grandchildren had a lot of fun playing in it. All beds were comfortable with clean linen. We know the area well and the cottage is 2 miles from Slapton village...
