"Excellent hotel. Modern. Staff are fab. Room was excellent and nicely decorated. This hotel is a brilliant base for the NEC. We used it for crufts. NEC is about 24 mins away but really easy to get to. Will definitely use again. "

"Easy check in but didn't realise you have to be there before 5pm. Good job I checked. room was nice and big, well heated, bathroom was massive, all modern fittings, and great to be facing the lake. Only thing I can say but its personal choice is the bed was really hard and didn't have a great nights sleep. "

"I asked the Reception if there was a guide on how to set the heater she said that someone would take a look.I also asked how to you turn on the towel rail in the bathroom I was told it is only there for looks and does not get hot, which did seem odd as it is connected into a socket and it is the only source of heat in the bathroom so our showers were taken quickly .Then during the night i had to turn the heater off as it was so hot so i dont think it was looked at."

When we went down for breakfast we were told that the chef wasn’t in work that day so the only things available was panini or toasties out of the coffee room. The food looked like it had been there for ages and I paid for an actual breakfast. We weren’t told there was no chef until we went down for the meal.
