"Went on a family vacation at Christmas. Overall, the facility was 4 star as advertised - great pool and right on the beach as advertised. The pool was cool as it was like a winding river around the area with lots of areas to sit and lounge with swim up bar and lots of servers - never an issue getting a drink. They also had activities like yoga and pool aerobics. The breakfast was really good - the bar was good - restaurants were ok for dinner, but you can easily walk to the marina where there are more choices for dinner. Only complaint I would have is that there isnt enough umbrellas for the pool and they only had 1 stand up paddle board and 2 sea kayaks for the entire facility so its a bit of a farce saying its included as part of the resort fees as they were booking them 4 days out - the owner should step it up and buy some more as the beach cove is much calmer than Jaco and great for that kind of activity. Also, its about a 10-15 drive to Jaco where the surfing is great and other activities - otherwise - great stay - would recommend."

"The property is beautiful and well maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food is excellent. My room was unexceptional and I expected better for the price. The location in Mario Antonio is private and secluded with excellent security. If traveling with young children and planning to stay put, it would work very well. If easy access to other areas, or to the public beach or park in Mario Antonio, is a priority then it's an inconvenience that needs to be planned for. "
