"What a great place to stay while enjoying San Diego!This property gave 4 couples each a private suite. Very comfortable beds.The view is spectacular, the location is minutes away for the harbor.Our Host communicated quickly answering questions, they gave great recommendations on restaurants and local activities."

"We brought the grandparents to visit our daughter down at college in San Diego. The house was perfect for us. Everyone got their own rooms. We had everything we needed to cook meals and be comfortable. Parking was a bit tricky to find on the street in the evening and the person who lives in the ADU used the spot behind the garage. Overall we had a wonderful time."

"The house easily accommodated our family of four adults and one newborn. The location is perfect for access to the beach across the street and short walks to coffee shops and restaurants. Downtown La Jolla is a quick drive for more shopping, restaurants, and grocery stores. The owner/property manager is very responsive and helpful if you need him. "

"We had a great stay visiting our daughter at college. The house was a great escape for her for the weekend and she even got her laundry done. We enjoyed tidal pooling and checking out the beach during the king tide. The neighborhood was very quiet this time of year and great for morning walks. We cooked meals and the kitchen was supplied with the all necessary equipment and some essentials like salt pepper and oil. But we also enjoyed a couple of restaurants within easy walking distance."

"This house was ideal for our family of six (4 adults and 2 children). The location is ideal - a great jumping off point and easy to get to the bay, the beach, and close to the main strip in PB. We took advantage of all of the amenities - garage, laundry, TV, games, and of course the hot tub! - and really enjoyed our three night stay. Communication from Avant was clear and easy. The only negatives - while the property was clean (and the cleaning crew showed up promptly as we were checking out!)...

"Lovely home with lots of room for family with young children to spread out. Wonderful, warm welcome with Christmas tree and lovely decor set up by owner. Felt like a special welcome. Lots of extra bedding and towels provided for the fold down sofas for children. Some of the bedding seems like it could use an update/better clean (some stained sheets - but nothing too alarming. Other bedding was just fine). Great location to get to zoo and Sea World via short uber ride. Grocery store and...

"This was a nice property but there was only a space heater and little in the way of air circulation. With the recent CA fires, the air was my only complaint. Poor timing on our part I suppose. Would stay again however."
