"Very convenient for our trip to the local hospital and very reasonable price including breakfast. A warm welcome at reception on check-in. Nice large room with comfortable big bed. You can open the windows to let in fresh air - not always possible these days at some hotels. We loved that it was over the pub/restaurant (a good menu plus specials and what we had was cooked really well) yet the pub couldn’t be heard from the room. Breakfast had a good selection of cereals etc and cooked options....

"Spacious twin room, nice touches like coffee bags and fresh milk in a flask. Helpful staff. Free parking and the lake walk right beside the hotel. "

"Good room, bfast options good, anemic sausages only down side. Bfast timings could be earlier than 7am due to location and requirement to drive to place of work."

"I use the ely as my parents live near by. As a family we used to eat at the restaurant offen to celebrate my grandmother 's birthday. I moved to Cornwall 20yrs ago and its nice to come home and stay somewhere local and friendly. "
