"Great location for beach and town. Room was a little basic and bathroom could do with an update. Breakfast was very good with friendly staff although have to pay extra to get a machine coffee! There is no parking on site although you get 5 hours free (within certain hours) at the adjacent car parks which are just next door."

"I stay for one night with my mother for a visit to Dumfries House. There was no record of our booking when we arrived but it wasn’t a problem and we were given a room in the annex. All was great although next time we would prefer to stay in the main hotel. We ate there on Saturday evening and the food was delious. The hotel recen changed hands and the new owners are renovating it to a high standard. We would definitely recommend this hotel."

"This hotel has now become a Premier Inn. We booked in March to stay at the Holiday Inn Express. We received an email from Premier Inn saying they would honour our booking. This was not quite the case and we are still waiting to hear from Premier Inn.
