"I have stayed here several times. Normally very good, and I shall still use in the future. This time, however, was a little disappointing. I rang through to reception at 5:30 PM, as I was cold in my room, as the weather is now clearly into the cold winter mode. I explained I was going out at 7 anyway, but was not sure as to why the radiator was not working. I was informed it operated on a timer, and would come on at 8, but only for 2 hours. "Funky guest house in an amazing location. Tucked away right in the heart of the city. I really enjoyed my stay. Right in the heart of the action (so expect some outside noise at weekends) but it wouldn’t put me off. "

"Had a wonderful stay here over the weekend of our wedding. The room was a wonderful size and while nice and clean it was a little tired in places. The staff however were so kind and helpful; going above and beyond time after time to make our stay special. The food in the restaurant was delicious, I would recommend booking a Sunday lunch if you the opportunity. Thank you for such a lovely stay."

"Host friendly and welcoming, greeted me on arrival. Lovely room, very clean, nice decor. Lots of tea and coffee sachets provided. Nice ensuite. Although on a busy road the double glazing on windows kept out all noise. Had a good nights sleep. Would stay again."

"What friendly staff!!! Everyone was so helpful and chatty. Lovely menu with daily specials, chef's specials and normal pub grub. Nice atmosphere too as it is down a country lane, but locals were eating and drinking there. Will stay there again the next time we are in the areaQ"

"We rarely stay in pubs (particularly not on a Saturday night). This venue was exceptional, had clearly been refurbished recently (smell of fresh paint). Good to see locals in the bar, who welcomed us ahead of hotel staff. Room was clean and well appointed. We ate in restaurant in evening - food and service were both excellent (although portion size was HUGE !!!). Breakfast good in morning."

"This is a very reasonable and nice place to stay for the price. Upon arrival, I was confused about which property I would be staying in, but after opening the doors and reading the signs posted inside, it’s very straightforward. The woman next to me did not have a code for her room and struggled to reach anyone at ~9pm, so, if you’re reading this, make sure you have your code ahead of time. The rooms are small and quaint.
