"This place is a true gem. Carlos, Paula, Adriana and staff made sure we felt at home. The property itself is super nice and within 3-4 minutes drive from Monteverde center. "The villa has a great view of the lake and is extremely quiet. It’s secluded but still close to the main road and we felt like it was a safe area The directions provided by the owner are good but it is hard to find at night. The furniture, bedding and amenities are pretty old but we were not expecting 5 star. We loved Nuevo Arenal compared to the very touristy La Fortuna but there are of course more activities there. Overall very happy with the villa"
