"I wish I could give this place a rave review because the family who owns it was so friendly and helpful, but it did not live up to our expectations in ways other than the good service. Our "panoramic view" room did not have a panoramic view. This was rated a 4-star hotel, but really isn't one. Our room was rustic, smelled musty, and the bed clothes were old. The breakfast was good, and there were lots of animals and birds on the grounds, and there was a lovely view, just not from our room. "

"Nepenthe is a gem. You need to grab this stay for as long as it stays a gem, the owners are getting older and are actively trying to sell. Make this trip, you will not regret it. "Highly recommended location, I really enjoyed staying here at this family run B&B. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was really nice, my room was great, very quiet and comfy. The gardens are lovely and there is a great little deck to watch the sunset. Although the place is down and unpaved road I was only in a tiny 2wd car and this (and everywhere else in the area) easily accessible, just take it very slow. Would definitely stay here again "

"There was no communication between staff and guest because the staff "acted" like they couldnt speak english and when i used a spanish app they acted like they had no clue until they needed my money then suddenly they understood what i said and english.
