"This place is absolutely incredible! Our bungalow was clean and spacious and at night the sounds of nature made it feel like we were in a rainforest sound bath. "The villa has a great view of the lake and is extremely quiet. It’s secluded but still close to the main road and we felt like it was a safe area The directions provided by the owner are good but it is hard to find at night. The furniture, bedding and amenities are pretty old but we were not expecting 5 star. We loved Nuevo Arenal compared to the very touristy La Fortuna but there are of course more activities there. Overall very happy with the villa"

"We have stayed ar over 20 rental properties. And this one was by far the best! The house and grounds are beautiful. Patrick is an amazing host! We ended up with a flat tire and he arranged to have it taken into town to be repaired.The daily breakfast provided were also amazing and different every day!I can’t recommend this property enough!"

"We had a quick two night stay with my elderly parents to enjoy the views & wildlife. This house situated above the trees with a view of Arenal lake was perfect as the birds flew by at eye level constantly. We never even turned on the TV, house was cool enough without AC due to breeze. Water pressure in the shower could be better but other than that, we had everything we needed. "
