"This property was absolutely gorgeous!!! A worth mention was the staff how incredibly friendly they are and how they will make your experience that much more better. The restaurant riverside kitchen was delicious and had many options, the only issue we had was they sold out of their higher tier steaks which goes to show how incredible it must be! "We enjoyed our stay in this hotel/ryokan, it has clean and spacious room with private onsen. There is a Family Mart right beside it which is great. The other dining options nearby are about 20min walk away, so it will be better to drive. The hotel does offer dinner at it's restaurant but you need to reserve before 7pm the day before you want to dine there. We took the option with breakfast which is the usual Japanese spread with seasonal fish. Will stay here again for sure."

"This hotel is so wonderful and the staff are genuinely so helpful and lovely to interact with. The breakfast and the dinner were phenomenal and shouldn’t be missed. The private open air bath is a fantastic option for people with tattoos. "

"Booked this room for the private onsen and it was quite a lovely experience. We brought our luggage to them early in the morning and asked them to hold it until our check in so we could explore and after we checked in and made it to our room they sent someone to bring the luggage up. There was a breakfast buffet included with our room and it had a really nice variety of foods from western to Japanese. Staff spoke great English "

"Incredible hospitality and ryokan experience. Very traditional and a wonderful way to experience and appreciate Japan and Japanese culture (11th time here and have done ryokan before). Extensive kaiseki and some dishes you would never find on a restaurant menu. Place is extremely clean albeit showing a bit wear - and - tear with facilities. Do book private onsen outside. 10/10"

"The water had a wierd smell, the onsen was boiling hot to the point where we couldn't tolerate it, and the food was not good. All 3 of us got food poisoning from the "traditional Japanese breakfast " they served"

"We had an amazing stay. It was such a rejuvenating experience! The mat beds were probably the most comfortable sleep we’ve ever gotten and the always hot hot spring tub will be something I dream about forever. Food was amazing, although the portions are almost too much for one meal. We left each meal stuff beyond belief and partially dreaded not being hungry enough to eat the next one haha. Such an amazing stay, we would most definitely come back again!"
