"We had a lovely stay at this property and truly enjoyed our time on the Mendocino Coast! The home is comfortable and reasonably well appointed and the view is wonderful. A couple of things that don’t necessarily detract from the rating, but would be things I would want to know before staying here:- Kitchen is reasonably well appointed and adequate for basic meals. "We’re already planning return stays. It’s such a great place and is better in person than in the photos. The location is perfect with a few steps you are on the beach. The house is very comfortable with lots of different hang out areas and amazing views. The bedrooms above the garage make for a great kids wing of the house. Some reviews mentioned cleanliness but it was spotless when we arrived. Very happy with everything. Definitely coming back!!"

"The Gray Whale was beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for a weekend getaway. We could hear the ocean waves from the house. Super comfortable and accommodating for my friends and I. I would definitely recommend staying here. Hot tub outback was a bonus. "
