"We had two very nice comfortable cabins, beds were fine, it was lovely being able to sit on the porches and listen to the birds. The thermal baths were fabulous, graduated from hot to luke warm, were well kept up and clean. However we had two problems. The water in our cabins kept going off for many many hours For all three days of our stay. Very awkward not being able to flush toilets! We actually would fill up bottles of water so we could brush our teeth if the water was off. The other problem...

"Might need a car to get into town, but a great hotel. Food on site was amazing and affordable. Best pizza in Costa Rica. The hiking trails were a nice afternoon and morning adventure. Would recommend this place to anyone. Great view of the sunset (unfortunately some clouds blocked the full view during our stay). "

"The woman at the front desk who checked us in and helped us make a reservation in the restaurant was so gracious and helpful that she alone deserves five stars! All staff were great, and treated us with kindness and helpfulness. Upon arrival, we were greeted with ice cold lemonade, which was much appreciated after a long day in the warm weather. "Location up in the rain forest was beautiful. Really felt far removed from town, even though it really wasn’t that far. Staff is amazing; attentive and friendly. The view from the main lodge was so peaceful. Rooms are large albeit a little spartan but I do appreciate their eco practices. The food at the restaurant was the best we had while in Costa Rica."
