The village is lovely, with friendly people at every turn and wonderful food in both restaurants that we tried. Close to the beach, but with a pool and ocean views that make you want to just stay right there. We'd definitely recommend and come again."

"The house had a fantastic sea view from almost every angle of the house and garden. The BBQ area was its own little resort with a sink and prep area as well as a jacuzzi , hammock and beautiful garden. All doors and windows had fully fitted insect nets and the AC was excellent. The location is superb, set in the hills above Elounda with the most amazing views of the town in the distance, the island of Spinalonga, the turquoise sea and the mountains. "This beautiful rustic cottage was ideal for our two week stay in mid May with our daughter and her husband. It’s on a hillside, is very private, has a lovely terrace overlooking the tiny village and the ocean. We had the local beach to ourselves and enjoyed several nearby pristine (and empty) beaches as well. We loved the view, the pool, the friendliness and responsiveness of the host, the usefulness of everything in the house. We had a couple of small issues but when we told the host, they were going to get them taken care of. It was hard to leave when our time came. "

"A lovely place, situated conveniently close to beaches, various restaurants, local shops and a 'mini'market'. Free parking is available uncovered or covered. None of the properties around the 20m x 10m pool look at each other, increasing your privacy. The only downside was the management dealing with problems etc. We advised them that the TV was not working. They said that that they would arrange for an engineer to come out, but nobody came."

"Property seems very kid friendly, which is nice, but as we did not bring our children this trip, it was loud and overwhelming with kids running all over. Often difficult to get spots at the pool as well. We almost decided to go next door to the Nana Princess instead. Food was pretty good. Facilities have plumbing issues given the smells in the bathroom. Was not pleasant. Good value but not luxury. Live and learn"

"A beautiful hotel in the heart of Koutouloufari. Rooms are spacious with everything you could possiby need during your holiday, plus a bottle of wine to welcome you. The pool area isn’t huge but very pretty and never so busy you can’t find a seat or sunbed. So many brilliant places to eat and drink on the area. Perfect holiday destination."
