"Little mix up with our room when we first go here but staff were so quick to rectify and so apologetic. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and plenty of towels. Lovely shower. Breakfast had plenty of choices and was delicious. Thank you we will be back "

"The hotel oozed character with its Tudor styling and timeless interior. The bar and restaurant area with its wooden panelling was charming and authentic. The bedrooms were stylish and clean with comfortable bed and seating, and the lovely warm bathroom was finished in a modern but not out of place styling. With free parking, it was excellent value for money. Cliff, Wiltshire"

"This place is not ready for the public yet, the room is very dated, the windows are very old and damaged, the carpet was disgusting, the bed sheets were not changed from the previous visit. The shower was not comfortable either. The gym was good, and the staff seemed friendly, but the hotel needs a major uplift to justify the room rates they are charging"

"Breakfast was excellent with a good choice and good service . Came back to our room one day after a day out to find our door had been left open by the maid . When mentioned to reception they didn't seem to take it too seriously . Nice touch with the christmas wreaths on the doors to each room but not on the top floor where we were and on mentioning this to reception on checkout we were told they were going to do it soon ( noticed this 2 days before so not sure if this was true and if it was...
