"Clean hotel, communal areas are lovely and breakfast is great. Our room was not as I’d expected. It was small and was worn with chips in furniture and cold! I asked for extra bedding and this was provided, I was also offered a heater for the room as the radiator was not working. I can’t see how the room could have been described as delux double as it was an attic room and the sloping walls meant a mirror couldn’t be hung above the sink so shaving was difficult. "

"I had a fabulous stay! I was in recovery from a gastricoperation and had very tricky food requirements. The staff were extremely helpful and went above and beyond to ensure I had meals that met all the requirements (dairy free, gluten free and no acidic or spicy foods). The chef made me tasty alternatives and i enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea that catered to all my dietary requirements. "A quiet , comfortable and cosy hotel which is ideal for exploring the local 1066 countryside and beyond into the south coast at Hastings, Bexhill, Rye areas It’s small, but everything they do is great The staff are lovely I particularly want to commend Toby for being so accommodating and helpful after I checked in very late one evening I’ve already booked to come back when I’m next in the area "

"The hosts - Karen & Malcolm were so hospitable & helpful. The Laindons Guest House is situated in an excellent location in Old Town, Hastings. The Red room was very comfortable, top quality bed linen and the facilities throughout the property are sublime with every attention to detail made.
