Whilst some of the breakfast staff’s English speaking skills were a bit limited, a willingness to understand by various means made our communication possible. For example like many places I've stayed at around the country, alternatives to cow’s milk are available, tho’ they are not always advertised or displayed and one has to think outside the box. Some basic sign language was used to convey this. I’ve often bought my own with me but...

"The staff/owners were very polite and helpful. The facilities are excellent and well throughtout. The hotel was clean, parking was easy. Breakfast was good. Would stay here again. "

"The room was small but had everything you could wish for. Tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryer, 2 irons, small fridge, etc. the heating was a little too warm for us but not too much. Lovely as you are almost in the centre of Brighton, close to the seafront so not too much walking to get where you want to go. "

"Small guest house very pleasant, helpful welcoming staff. The bed was lovely and clean with soft comfy pillows 3 each. Bed was soft. The room was perfect temperature & we slept well, felt safe and secure. It was so quiet. The bathroom is tiny but we coped fine it was only one night and we had plenty of nice towels. Kettle so we could have a cuppa. Just a stones throw from the beach. "

"The apartments are lovely, and have everything you need; washing machine, microwave, toaster, oven etc. The only thing that would stop me coming again, is the exorbitant price charged for dogs. £20 per dog PER NIGHT! We have 2 small dogs, staying for 5 nights which would be an extra £200 on the bill! We queried it, and they reduced it to £15 per dog per night. But that is still an extra £150. Other places we have stayed in, charge between £20-£50 per stay. So, as lovely and convenient as it is,...

"Room exactly how advertised, bathroom was immaculate and overall room was great. Perfect location. Nice vintage feel but is clearly very well kept. The front door and room having electronic keypad with codes was very handy meaning no need to check in and easy access in and out. More than enough space for the two of us. Room was bright and airy. "
