"Arawa hotel is a fine option for the Rotorua area. It is a bit old. The room is very spacious, but most things in the room look relatively old. The restaurant though is very good and very spacious! Staff service (both at lobby front desk and the restaurant) is excellent. There are some restaurants around the area which are good as well."

"Beautiful property and hotel, lobby and bar are very nice and the staff showed exceptional service. Half of the hotel has just gone under renovations, and we decided to pick a lake view room with a balcony, unfortunately this side of the hotel was not renovated and the room we were put it has a very large water bubble with some possible moulding that continued down the curtains. With a quick phone call they allowed us to move, still to an in renovated room, which was completely fine, but...
