The only disappointments were that the pool area bar was closed and the breakfast buffet was terrible. Selection was very limited, not replenished, when empty, and food was cold. "

We loved the antique vibe! Our room was cozy and spacious. The rooftop bar & restaurant is very chick with a great atmosphere. Without a doubt this hotel is one of the best options of where to stay in Dan Jose. "

"We didn’t get to the hotel until 2:00am and whoever was at the desk was so helpful. There isn’t an elevator so they helped us with bags while we carried our sleeping kids. The hotel was quiet and beautiful- the breakfast delicious- service was beyond- would absolutely recommend for nice retreat! "

"This was an amazing place to vacation. Easy access to Manuel Antonio and the beach. Even if you don't want to visit either of those, the property itself is like a zoom. We saw 3 different species of monkeys up close with some visiting us right on our balcony. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable and there were plenty of dining options right on the property."

"The hotel is across from a supermarket but there aren’t any restaurants within easy walking distance, and walking after dark did not feel like the right thing to do, so I ended up eating at the hotel restaurant, which was okay. Just okay. Hot water seemed to take a long time to get to the 2nd floor. The room had a coffee maker, but with porcelain cups, which made me wonder if they were dishwasher clean, or washed in the room with my towels. Ditto the drinking glasses. No refrigerator....
