"The outside area around the pool was beautiful. They could use some more poolside lounge chairs. Mambi Restaurant’s buffet breakfast was great as well as free for guests. My only complaint was the lack of any room decorum. There isn’t an elevator so I requested a room on the ground floor near the pool. "We stayed 4 nights. Very clean room and grounds. The pool was beautiful and a short walk to the beach on mostly level ground. The breakfast was just ok, and was included in the price. They charge extra if you want fresh fruit, 10$. And they managed to run out of fruit and failed to go purchase some. How do you run out of fruit in Costa Rica? As a vegetarian my only choice was toast with jelly, as their butter was weird. "
