"We wanted a nice place to stay in Liverpool for the match. It was a special weekend for our son. The hotel was lovely but my goodness the room was tight space wise. We booked a premium room w/ balcony in the top floor with two large beds. It was so tight we had to keep our clothes packed and keep things very neat so we had some floor space to move around. It was a nice room with the city view but I wouldnt say it was premium given the tiny size. Breakfast was nice and fast, staff very nice too. "

"A delightful stay ‘on board The Liner’. Warm welcome from Receptionist who was impeccably dressed. Nothing was too much bother and everything explained in full, without me asking. Had Sunday lunch in restaurant which was fabulous and unbelievable value for money, especially as it was the last Sunday of the month so there was an added bonus of a ‘live’ singer 2-4pm. "Enjoyed our stay, was perfect for what we wanted. Staff very helpful and chatty. Bit disappointing that the roof bar area was shut for refurbishment, we werent told this on booking and it was one of the reasons i had made the booking. The place is tired and in need of renovation which i believe they're in the process of doing. Super convenient to Liverpool one and some great bars and restaurants nearby. Would recommend as a base for anyone."

"Great experience all round, every single member of staff we interacted with was a pleasure. Hotel was clean. Lifts were speedy so wasn’t an issue being on third floor. Loads of options for breakfast. Swimming is a book in system which I think should be clearer when booking- however that process was easy and pool was clean too. "
