"I loved it! I had a sea view and as expected the sunset was amazing from any angle of the hotel. I enjoyed the breakfast served here. The front desk staff were very professional & helpful. The location it's conveniently (15-minutes away from Funchal) if you decide not to rent a car since public transportation is reliable in the area, literally there is a bus stop right in front of the hotel.... Well recommended. "

"Honestly, I thought this hotel was great. I enjoyed my room: clean, with a great shower and it had the benefit of a fridge and a balcony with sea-view. The daily room service was also appreciated. The hotel's team members were friendly and efficient. It had a decent in-house restaurant, but there was also the option of walking for no longer than 10 minutes to get to other restaurants. Good sized pool(s) with plenty of seating. "

It has a nice view, if you are in floor 8 and under you can't see the sunrise, but you can see the sunset which is superb. 4. the room was ok - perhaps adding an airfreshener or something to make the room fresher and smeeling nicer would be great. Beds are alright, and the bedroom is well equipped. The down side: 5. The parking: it said €5 per day in both leaftlet and website and we were charged...

"This hotel is right beside the natural lava pools in which you can swim. The staff were uniquely helpful and friendly - service excellent without being intrusive. Food was very high quality. Hotel was immaculately clean throughout."
