"Not often in life do you get to stay in a property of this quality in such a special location. The weather was almost perfect and we enjoyed two super weeks exploring Arco Da Calheta and Madeira. The pool and pool area at Casa Das Flores are amazing, we used the pool every day. The villa has everything you need come rain or shine. Access to walks and shops/bars from the door also a bonus. Our only critique was the noise from locals who appeared to be racing their cars at night near the property....

"Beautiful property we had a wonderful stay. We were meet by property manager who went through everything with us. We were 7 adults and 4 children. It was a perfect home for the bigger kids had a pool table and pool. Close to all, easy to access freeway. Garage parking for 3 cars was perfect. I would just make sure to request more bath towels and toilet paper before arrival."

"Everything was very easy and the house is very very clean. Our hostess is very gracious with area information. The house is quiet with beautiful views. Everything was in good working order. We would definitely stay here again. It is a well planned house with lots of space and baths."

"Will be a good place when it will be finished. We were living in a construction site where noise was starting at 8am (or earlier) to finish at 8pm. The apartment was nice but not fully functional since AC was not connected. The apartment we had was made for 2 people as the sofa cannot be seriously considered as an extra bed (even for kids). The owner is always there to help."

"The house is beautiful. The pool area is an amazing place to take in the views, sunsets and relax. The directions and accompanying literature provided by the host are very informative and answered all of our questions about using the house amenities. Highly recommend taking advantage of the bakery delivery truck that drives past every morning at ~9:15. There is a nespresso machine and drip/filter coffee maker for caffeine needs. If we’re ever back in Madeira, we will hope to stay here again....

"We had a great weeks stay at Blue Sea Cottage. All information given by Bill was timely. Self check in easy. Villa is excellent. We had plenty of room for three adults. Great bathrooms and kitchen. Outside poll area and view is as per the picture. Perhaps some basics in the kitchen would be great such as pepper, salt, olive oil and cling film. All of which we purchased and left for the lucky people who came after us. Also the BBQ had no implements such as tongs etc. So using the BBQ was a bit...

"Our family of five stayed for five nights in March. The property was quite large, and accommodated our party easily. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with everything necessary to cook breakfast and simple meals during our stay. The TV and internet worked well. There was a small pool which we did not use, as it was quite cool during our stay, but would be lovely for a dip during the summer. "Stayed in March/ April with partner and teenage son. We found the villa with no problem using Google Maps link provided and checked in easily. We were surprised at how big it is! There were only three of us, but it would be more than big enough for a family of six. We found it to be very well-equipped, with everything that we needed to enjoy our stay. The pool was lovely, and heated to a good temperature - the worst bit was getting out, particularly if it was a bit windy! Car hire is essential...

"We had a good week. The apartment has everything you need for a self catering stay, sunny patio. comfortable lounge, well equipped kitchen. There is a little convenience store next door and a full range of shops about 1 km up the hill. The nearest resturants seemed to be about 3 km away so not walking distance and the traffic was a little busy but then it is everywhere in Funchal. The owner was very friendly did everything he could to make us welcome even though he did not have much English."

"Lovely Villa high up with warm pool you need a car lovely scenery two minor problems with shower and toilet but they were fixed easy communications with Miguel lots of activities to book in Calheta lovely port and Restaurants. We had a heat wave in the 30,s while we were there good job we had air con in villa. Thank you Miguel for letting us stay in your lovely villa"
