"Very clean and the staff are very friendly. Was not happy with the evening meal. Caesar salad was all lettuce and a tiny bit of cheese and the Club sandwich I had was not very nice, as a thick chicken fillet made it very awkward to eat. The chips were very greasy. I didn't want to complain to the staff, because I didn't want to ruin the occasion. The waitress was very friendly, though, and always asked if everything was ok. "

"A spectacular looking hotel in an historic building. You can normally judge why your stay will be like based on the welcome you receive at check in and Darren who checked us in couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. Nice bar area, albeit small, and whilst the rooms are not massive they are comfortable and well furnished. The location next to Lime Street Station and St John Centre where parking is just £6 for 24 hours is another major draw. "

"Booked a 2 night stay in a junior suite as my son getting married in nearby venue. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Coffee machine and fridge in the room which was perfect. Had room service on the first evening and it arrived quickly and still hot. Reception staff friendly and efficient Overall could not have asked for any more. Will definitely stay again "

"Great central location. Good pool and breakfast selection. Not pleased about the lack of housekeeping as we were staying for 2 nights. We raised this at reception but NO action was taken. Also, service at reception is extremely slow. We checked in online but it still takes ages when you get there."

"I ordered a pizza from room service at 10:45pm and when it hadn’t arrived by 12:15am I rang them to check up on it and they said they had no record of it. It took 20 minutes for it to turn after that. Which was fast service but we were really tired at that point and just wanted to sleep. Overall though food was good, service other than that was great and really friendly staff "

"Check in easy with self-service option available but also very friendly staff on hand to assist if required. Very close to Liverpool One and all that area has to offer. Facilities excellent with everything being new and fresh. Breakfast was also good with lots of choice and hot food. Would have no hesitation in recommending."

"Group of 4 girls stayed 2 nights. Great stay yet again. room was spacious. Lighting ok and loved the 3 dressers. Aircon not working but coped fine. Check in was quick and easy. Male Reception and Bar/restaurant staff great and friendly. Breakfast was great. Beds need new mattresses as springs can be felt but again managed."
