"It was our second stay at The Holiday Inn Hotel in Southend and it was excellent. Easy check in, all staff were friendly and excellent service. The room was a very good size and was spotlessly clean, lovely bathroom with fabulous smelling toiletries. Everything you would need was in the room including a safe. The breakfast was excellent so much choice. Easy parking at the hotel cost £10.00 a night. I highly recommend this hotel."

"From the moment we checked in to when we checked out our stay there was very enjoyable the first thing you notice is how friendly and helpful the staff who work there are, our room was large very clean and had everything you needed in it, the castle was interesting to look round, the grounds were nice I would imagine in the summer they would be even more so, for a bit of fun I would recommend a visit to the maze it's big and the groto at the end of it is good, if I lived nearer to Leeds castle I...

"The staff were very friendly and helpful at The Millers The quality of the food was good and well presented. The breakfast is freshly cooked and there is a good choice on the menu but only one item can be chosen. There is not an option for cereals, pastries and toast with jam and marmalade. The pub is undergoing a refurbishment but this did not interfere with our stay as it has started on the outside of the building. The location is great, with a car park across the road, and is in easy walking...

"An excellent facility in the cathedral complex which was just what we wanted. We love the cathedral and it is so central to everywhere we wanted to go. At night the floodlit building is magical - photo is from our room window."
