"A lovely unique hotel. Staff were attentive, polite and friendly. As it was a special birthday and rather last minute booking I tried to use the thermal suite but it was booked up. This was disappointing. The room was comfortable, spacious with a lovely en suite bathroom. The carpet was a little threadbare in some places although given that the room was rather dark as were the corridors in the hotel then it was not that noticeable. "We wanted a nice place to stay in Liverpool for the match. It was a special weekend for our son. The hotel was lovely but my goodness the room was tight space wise. We booked a premium room w/ balcony in the top floor with two large beds. It was so tight we had to keep our clothes packed and keep things very neat so we had some floor space to move around. It was a nice room with the city view but I wouldnt say it was premium given the tiny size. Breakfast was nice and fast, staff very nice too. "
