"We ended up staying here last minute due to a bad experience at the Marsden Hotel down the road. It was a pleasant stay. The rooms are a bit small if you have a few suitcases, and the WiFi isn't great, but it has all the facilities for a one-night stop off, and I have no major complaints. Would stay here again for the price we paid."

"Aura is clearly a well-loved and cared-for property. I liked the idea of staying someplace that wasn't a big property but would be safe and clean. The staff was so kind and welcoming. The property itself was quiet and is very near the water, so it's a block or two outside of Rotorua noise and traffic. It was easy to walk to grocery stores and such.
