"This hotel was like a tucked away little gem of a hotel amidst the hustle and bustle of Kyoto. It was as tasteful as can be, with kind, helpful staff and a very nice room. There was an onsen which was pleasant as well and much needed after long days of city walking tours. Highly recommended!"

"We booked for 4 nights and enjoyed our stay. All the staff were professional and very polite. The breakfast had a good variety of choices of Japanese food. I loved the choices of fresh fruit and the 3 choices of jams. It would be nice to have proper slices of bread instead of milk bread. It took 10 minutes just to make a piece of toast. Regardless of any other shortcomings this hotel may have, the ability for clients to enjoy free drinks and various refreshments throughout the day in the lounge...
