"We wanted a nice place to stay in Liverpool for the match. It was a special weekend for our son. The hotel was lovely but my goodness the room was tight space wise. We booked a premium room w/ balcony in the top floor with two large beds. It was so tight we had to keep our clothes packed and keep things very neat so we had some floor space to move around. It was a nice room with the city view but I wouldnt say it was premium given the tiny size. Breakfast was nice and fast, staff very nice too. "

Was a bit dark in the room, and hard to work out how to get any lights on - have to go round and individually turn lamps on and there was no hall light near the door so hard to see how to control the heating - not a major issue but a bit odd for a nice hotel. Also could do with USB ports for charging. Parking is very limited, this should be made clearer on the advert - they emailed about it after but you can't cancel then. It's also...

"Great experience all round, every single member of staff we interacted with was a pleasure. Hotel was clean. Lifts were speedy so wasn’t an issue being on third floor. Loads of options for breakfast. Swimming is a book in system which I think should be clearer when booking- however that process was easy and pool was clean too. "
