"A great location right on the lake in Hakone. Although it looked to be fully booked we did not see other guests and it was lovely and peaceful. We stayed for 3 nights and were fortunate to see Mt Fuji for two days of our stay. The onsen in the room was amazing, we used it twice a day or more, so relaxing. Our room had a balcony with a private onsen, which was absolutely worth the splurge. The view was beautiful. I was pleasantly surprised by how comfy the futons were when we slept. "Everything was perfect except for the organization of the buffet. The architect made a big mistake there. The aisle between the buffets is far too narrow. Hardly two people can cross each other. This is why there were various incidents. During our four-day stay, at least five things fell to the floor because the guests were bumping into each other. For us, this was an imposition.
