"We stayed for two nights in the Rose Room with Jeff and Jan as our onsite hosts. Everything was as described in hotel website and positive reviews. Very comfortable bed and higher end amenities. The hot tub was sparkling clean and the breakfasts & morning conversations a delight. Their onsite kitty and small doggie were an added bonus. "I could put up photos of the amazing view of Glenorchy and the surrounds but chances are that you've already seen them and are now looking for a place to stay. The Lake House is comfortable and situated very close to the lake. This is both a good thing and a bad thing. Good because it's close to walk and get a better view down the lake or up towards the mountains where sections of LoTR was filmed.
