"Comfortable little house, with a well fenced private section. Was a cold weekend and the house was lovely and warm, with a heat pump and fire available. Great location, across the road from the club, and a short walk into town. House had everything we needed. "

The Tui Studio - Te Anau Holiday Studio

"Everything about this place was lovely. Clean, tidy and very comfortable bed! Nice to have the outside furniture to sit at too as the weather was great on two days. A couple of things I felt the owner could consider was some kind of light over bathroom mirror as very dark for putting on makeup and a blind over bathroom window. Even though it’s opaque you feel exposed with light on. 😜 these are additions though and would only enhance an already lovely place. Would definitely stay here again"

Lake House - Te Anau Holiday Home

"The views from the property are stunning, garden is lovely and kitchen good. A few minor things wrong which where communicated to the company but no response. It sleeps 15, but lounge, dining and outside can only cope with 8. TV room is rubbish and sofas uncomfortable and cheap, really needs a tv in lounge and master bedroom. However the views trump all of these issues "

"Te Anau was a cute little town. Enjoyed the downtown area for dinner. This house served as a great location for us to stay for spending 2 days in Milford Sound with our 2 kids and inlaws. Lawn and bushes needed upkeep. This made us a little worried when we pulled in. But the inside was spacious and comfortable."

"The property had the feel of an old family home that no-one had lived in for many, many years. The stove top wouldn't heat any of the pans, the oven smoked A LOT the one time we tried to use it probably because there were no baking dishes/pans so the inside was filthy, the pantry was full of expired food, and there were pots in the cupboard with an inch of water in the bottom. We really liked the fireplace, it was nice that they supplied wood. The place was spacious with plenty of room for...

"We really enjoyed staying so close to the lake and just a short walk from town. The house was very nice. The beds were comfortable and the wood stove in the living room made everything so cozy. The kitchen was well appointed. It was just a nice little cottage in a very pretty and convenient area."

"This house is the perfect base for your Fiordland National Park and Milford Sound adventures, but don't overlook Te Anau itself. There are plenty of shops and restaurants to explore, and you are only a few blocks from Lake Te Anau and some spectacular views from the marina and Te Anau Terrace."

"Property was very comfortable and sunny which was great in October's cooler days. As a previous long term resident of Te Anau I knew the area I selected and indeed, the house itself. Everything we needed was supplied with the exception of linen which I borrowed from local family and friends. If I had one negative it would be about the supply of linen. When choosing this property I assumed linen was included as per most motels etc. But, only after you actually BOOK do you find out that linen is...

"We really enjoyed our stay at Gordon and Viv's house. It was very clean and tidy and was super war and cosy. It had everything we needed, and more! So close to town too. We really appreciated being able to bring our dog to stay and she loved your house too. It was fenced very well for a dog. Thanks so much and we will definitely be coming to stay again! Maybe summer next time so we can enjoy the outdoor area too 😊"
