Upon entry the reception, lobby, dining and bar areas are impressive displaying hardwood panelled walls, stained glass windows and various antiques. "Had a lovely mini break at this hotel. Very clean and in an ideal location for walking to the city centre. Enjoyed our stay and parked locally. I am returning soon with my mum. One star chalked off as I expected our room to be cleaned and made up. One of the sheets had seen better days, had a tear in it. I won't be using the bar again, far too expensive! Those was my only grumbles but not put me off my return stay."
