As it turns out we were put in a room that they knowingly knew there was an electrical problem with the heater (only after did I find this out as it was being discussed as a friend checked in separately) On checking out and reporting this to the receptionist he didn’t offer an apology, his colleague eventually stepped in and said sorry.

Good hotel. Severely compromised by the shower- temperature was fine. However it was a trickle. My wife gave up trying to get the shampoo out of her hair. Took me ages just go get shower gel off. This was also a comment from other guests that we stayed with here

We stayed at the Yorkshire hotel for one night. The deluxe room are spacious with very comfortable and huge bed. Very pleasant hotel, lovely atmosphere in the bar and the staff are helpful and friendly

I have used this hotel several times. it is a great central location, but it is let down by a few small details. The internal paint color's are very dull, the rooms are dated and lack some general amenities, like coat hooks. The windows look like they haven't been washed for quite some time. although, helpful, normally staff would give a welcoming greeting, like "Good Morning or Hello", not here.

Staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. Parking was available in front of the property for an additional £15 per day. Rooms were really big, bathroom spacious and bed super comfortable!! Excellent value for money, for a Sunday and in a great location for the Harrogate exhibition centre. Only criticism was the room was a bit chilly and we could hear trucks unloading early in the morning (the windows might need upgrading, due to the nature of the building). Will definitely be back next year.
